I thought I would share my favorite tags and labels that I enjoy using on all the special boxes and cards:

When you put a template like this to good use, you'll never be out of great looking tags and labels again.

Here's what I did:

I followed my own stencil creating advice from the Craft Tools section and made both positive and negative templates. Check it out!

With a positive template you can easily outline the label on pretty card stock to make a tag or label and with a negative template you can quickly and easily use the template as a stencil and have a cute label print on cards and boxes by simply applying a quick dash of paint with a sponge or any other coloring medium to the pattern on the stencil template.

Enlarge or minimize the template to your own specifications on a photocopier.

What product would you print these tags on to place on a Jar? Is there another product to buy for that?

From Fun Stuff: Hi Linda we usually use plain white sticker paper from Amazon, print and then cut in squares or cut the shapes out. Here is the link:

Black Chalkboard Labels

Hello. How can I download the black chalkboard labels as a jpeg? Is there an option to purchase these? I believe I need a jpeg in order to add text.

The free pdf labels are plain black, not chalkboard. Yes further down this page is an option to purchase the labels in 20 colors. Many more labels here. Our labels are available in transparent background png format, text can be added to all.

I love these templates! Thank you so much for the design and being able to print them off the printer. I have used this so many times for birthday parties, name cards, name plates, bake sales, general cards etc!

How to use this with a background...

I want to put one of these labels on a card with a different colored background. I can crop and add text but I still have the white around the edges.

How can I have just the label itself?

I bought this set and the name plate set and absolutely love 'em! Thank you I also followed your tutorials on how to add text and re-size on the name plate templates, it worked very well for these labels too. Is it possible to send me a separate file for the one label? If you can, I need the scalloped oval (middle left). So happy I found your site. Regards, Risha

Making a template

Hi,

I LOVE these labels and would like to use the round one here for a tag that will attache to my "Save the Date" gifts for our wedding. When I purchase this download will I be able to separate the the shapes and make a whole page of round labels?

The shapes are all together as shown in the download, they can easily be separated by cropping the extra large image, without any loss in print quality using microsoft publisher or any other image editing program to get a single image.

If you are not sure how to do this, or need help with printing an entire page of a specific label, off course we can help (no additional charge!).

Just give us an approximate size of the label you wish to use, the color you have chosen once you have received your purchase, we'll be glad to help with the rest.

Vector Files

I notice that one of the file types listed is pdf. Does this mean that the images will be vector? Thanks and I LOVE these!!!

Hi Amanda & thank you, no unfortunately not but the included png files can easily be converted to vector format with one of the free grapic conversion programs that are available.

pw protected?

I love your template and would love to use it but when I go change the color in Adobe it tells me that this is password protected. Do I need to buy the template in order to change the color?

Hi Joy, thank you. The template is available in 20 different colors at the bottom of the page. Those files are in 300 dpi Jpg and Png format and can easily be changed to any other color. The free templates are for print only and can be used as is or as a template or pattern to cut tags and labels from a paper type of your choice.

Yes absolutely, the templates that you purchase are available in different file formats, you can easily open these files in any word processing or publishing program, add a text box and type your own text in. Just remember to set the settings for the text box to "no border line" and "no background color".

Checked my RSS feed from Fun Stuff To Do and what do I find:
I will pay the $5 for these templates with a song in my heart. I have battled two full days to get my png templates to look ok-ish. These are awesome!

I love these tags and labels, I understand why they are your favorites (for now)! That means we want MORE!

The PDF bonus is such a welcome surprise. Are we allowed to use the pdf on blogs/sites or is it only for personal use?

Please do the same for the other templates!
